This was our first trip to Anchorage and had never eaten Taco King before and since we love Mexican food we could not pass it up. The prices were a tad high, but it does seem that the general cost of living is higher in Alaska. The food was great and the staff were also wonderful. My only negative is that a young homeless guy came into the restaurant and proceeded to change his clothes. Nothing indecent just his shirt but it was right by our table. I would eat this again in a heartbeat if ever back in Anchorage.

Chimichanga was DELICIOUS! Fried ice cream was just as good. Their sides were also good(pico,red&geen salsa).Customer service was very friendly,cook was amazing. He was quick and you can tell he cooks with passion(not just quick and sloppy). Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed the food so much,we are definitely going back to try all the other foods on the menu. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
There is a first time for everything. I tried the enchilada with beans and rice. It was very tasty and filling. The food came out quickly. The staf were very friendly and patient, even with it being busy. Just a nice place to get some good, quick Mexican food.
